Been going to the americana for around 15 years its amazing wouldn't miss it for anything, some years we've had the great opportunity to play on the rock n roll stage and what a feeling, its a top venue for every walk of life so if you haven't been yet go and you will just keep on going. keep up you amazing work chris, bev and family you wll go down in history from shaun and sue c u in four weeks xxx

Just checked out the highly touted Festival Of Speed at Goodwood (July 4/5/6th). How people can whinge about the price charged to attend the Americana is beyond reason.. Look at these prices:
Regular Public Admission:
Friday: £33 per adult £26 kids
Saturday: £48 " " £37 "
Sunday: £48 " " £37 "
Weekend ticket = £103 per adult £78 kids
Roving Grandstand Tickets:
Friday: £59 Adult
Saturday: £85 Adult
Sunday: £85 Adult
Weekend: £181 Adult
Sure its a great event for but it sure isn't aimed at the blue collar workers or families that have limited funds.
Remember these prices don't include on site camping...
Now tell me the Americana is too expensive...CJ

Not sure what happened to my former 'guest book' so here's a new one.
